Playbox Parties is owned and operated in Saudi Arabia by Spears Theatre Arts.
Spears Theatre Arts has been delivering programs in Saudi Arabia since 2022 when we were invited to deliver a project for the Ministry of Culture. Since then, our work has expanded and we now deliver a wide range of programs and projects across multiple locations in Saudi Arabia.
Led by a team with decades of combined industry-leading experience, we are proud to offer world-class training led by internationally renowned instructors. With a deep commitment to excellence, we strive to nurture and inspire the next generation of performing arts talent in Saudi Arabia, fostering creativity, discipline, and passion in a vibrant, globally connected learning environment.

Our Team

Maxwell David
CEO
Spears Theatre Arts is led by Maxwell David who has over 20 years’ experience in performing arts training. Maxwell splits his time between London and Los Angeles where he delivers performing arts training and works on projects for the world’s largest studios and record labels including Disney, Netflix, Miramax, 20th Century Fox, Universal Music Group and Warner Records. He has also coached actors and artists including Olivia Rodrigo, Cynthia Erivo, Cheyenne Jackson, Joshua Bassett, Sally Hawkins and Meg Donnelly.

Andrew Sullivan
Education & Business Development Director
Andrew is an innovative and inspirational leader with almost two decades of industry led pioneering practice, research and management. He has vast experience leading and supervising growth within a wide range of institutions to collaborate and elevate teams to achieve the highest levels of inclusive vocational training and education. Andrew has outstanding creative imagination to implement culturally diverse and inclusive curricula; with the abilities to empower staff, shape dynamic contemporary arts training and cultivate vision.

Hannah Deebank
Program Manager
Hannah Deebank is a dedicated performing arts educator with experience in teaching singing and directing large-scale children’s productions since 2014. As Centre Director at Theatretrain St Albans, she has led teams, managed communications, and staged high-quality performances. Her teaching fosters creativity and confidence in young people. Internationally, she has worked in Saudi Arabia, adapting her methods to diverse settings while upholding inclusive, high-standard arts education. Hannah excels in leadership, organisation, and developing young performers’ vocal and stage skills.

Our Instructors
Our instructors make up a dynamic team of leading international and local performing arts professionals, bringing a wealth of experience from both live performance and education. They are passionate mentors who deliver the highest level of training across acting, singing, and dance. With a focus on creativity, technique, and confidence, our instructors tailor their approach to each student, ensuring engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire excellence and nurture talent in a supportive and inclusive environment.
